I found so many news fees on facebook that by not using imported goods for some days will breing down the exchange rate of dollar. I feel it’s a misconception. With due regards to feeling of our friends I would like to state that only by not using the imported material the things cannot be changed there is a need to take some following steps ; 1. Dependencies on petro products needs to be reduced drastically as its form part a very big portion of foreign currency outflow. We should replace petro operated public and private vehicles by battery operated vehicles as like china. The subsidy being given on account of vote bank should be diverted to this account. Public should be encouraged to use sharing / public vehicles. 2.Research and innovation should be promoted so that we do not need to be dependent on imported things. Recently Micromax has introduced good featured and better mobile then Samsung at half price. If the imported goods are not allowed to be consumed no healthy competition will arise among Indian manufacturers and they will continue to supply inferior things which will be injustice with the innocent consumers. Competition is necessary for the healthy market environment. 3. We need to pay our imports in Indian Rupee like we can purchase petro products from Iran who is prepared to take payments in Indian Rupee. You should be competent enough to face the America and strongly protest that it is necessary for the sake of our country like it does. 4. Export should be promoted drastically. At present we are exporting because exporters are getting handsome amount on account of lower exchange rate of our rupee. If we make internationally accepted quality products at a competitive price it would be possible. Only thing is we ought to come out with the problem of red tape. There are various other measures which need to be emphasized but our Indian political leaders are simply wasting there time and energy in fighting with each other and public has become audience of this bull fighting and sending criminals to Parliament to rule them.
