I got one of these calls just now, for the first time too. No tech support is going to call you out of the blue. Not Microsoft, not Comcast not anyone. Just think how hard it is to get through to them when you ARE having problems!! No one is going to notice that you are having trouble with your puter, and initiate a call to you....NOONE! So dont even let them get comfortable. After this guys spiel, I told him Microsoft would not have this number, I was not working on my computer, and that NONE of their techs would have such a pronounced middle eastern accent. He said...really....oh my god. then I hung up.
