I guess its a good thing Im not the CEO of General Motors. Why? Because when I found out about this coverup I had to testify about before congress today, I would have already fired for cause, everyone who had any knowledge of this issue and given their names to the state and federal Attorneys General and recommended criminal charges be filed. Executive? Manager? Office worker? Janitor? Line worker? It wouldnt matter. If you knew about the problem, you had a responsibility to report it up the management chain so that it could be fixed as quickly as possible. After that, I guess Id have to find a way to deal with the inevitable lawsuits that are going to be filed. I am so very terribly disappointed in this company that, in one way or another, has fed my extended family since the 1940s.
