I had a nice shift at work. Lots of laughs and Lord knows, too much food. The girls opened their Christmas gifts when I got home and I got an awesome surprise from my neighbors. (Cruz family, you shouldnt have! I thank you!) Now Im listening to the last of the Christmas tunes and fighting off a troubling case of melancholy. Im doing my best to look forward to the New Year and count my blessings but there is a strong desire to just have a good cry. Unfortunately the release that frees doesnt seem to want to reveal itself. Soooooo...what to do? The best I can, I guess. Merry Christmas, my friends. Its still been a good day.
