I had a truly meaningful conversation with an 89 yr old man who served our country in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam at the Rays game tonight (1942-1972 Navy). He goes to 20+ games a year with his son and I couldnt be more appreciative to have been able to sit next to him and have a conversation. If you are able to meet a vet from one of the past wars, please learn all you can and thank them for all they have done. These men are the foundation of our country and allow us to have all the freedoms we (as a society) take for granted daily. He loved seeing my photos from the Marshall Islands and all of the WWII nostalgia. Truly an awesome night.
