I had an experience, which concerns my having both found & joined the Church & would like to share it, so I hope that its okay..... As Ive posted in a couple places in the group in the past, I met & was taught by a senior missionary couple, then baptized & confirmed by him! Heres the thing..... Although we had never ever met, both she & I almost felt like we had already known each other! When they went back to Orem, Utah, at the end of their mission, we stayed in touch until Heavenly Father called each one of them home (her in June of 2009, & him in October of that same year)! At one point after their mission, she had to go for surgery, so I phoned there at the end of that day to check how she was! At that time, he told me something that has stuck with me all these years! Van said... You do know that it was never my idea to go on a mission! It was Marys idea to go! She said that there was someone whom shed promised to find & bring the gospel while here in this mortal world! Mary & I had both felt like we had known each other, despite the fact that wed never before met in this mortal world! Is it possible for people to have known one another in the premortal existence & still have some kind of recollection of knowing the person if they meet here in this mortal world??? Just wondering.......
