I have a true story to tell and if you are my friend in person or on Facebook, please read it in its entirety. It happened just a few moments ago. I came to work early, So I went to the library because I was motivated to write something to my brotha on Facebook. So I am typing my message and I hear some weird moaning and crying. So I am listening to it for a few moments. So I am curious as to find out what was going on. I saw my supervisor hunched over, holding her stomach. I could tell that she was in severe pain. I look across from my supervisors desk and I see my co-worker ignoring her. He did not move a muscle to assist her. I walk over there to see what is going on. She could barely talk, she was in so much pain. My co-worker sees me and decides to get up to help her. He wanted to take her home and I said, No! She needs to go to the hospital. He replied that she should go home. We were arguing over where our supervisor should be going. I said to my co-worker that she was in severe pain and should be going to the hospital. So he finally agreed. He pulled his truck to the front of the Condos. I tried to help my supervisor up, she couldnt move. She was in so much pain. So I had my co-worker call the fire department and ambulance. So my co-worker tells me if anybody asks, to let them know that He took care of our supervisor. Now I am not interested in accolades or pats-on-the-back. I am writing this because it feels so good to help people. It is the most amazing feeling I ever had. And God sent me there at the right time and at the right moment. Its not about glory....Its about the power of Love, Selflessness & Compassion.
