I have been a little quiet the past couple days…to make a long story short, they thought I had a torn retina in my right eye (I later found out that this is a really big deal that could result in a loss of vision in that eye…) After an intense exam with an Ophthalmologist this afternoon we found out that my retina is okay and that I have a Posterior Vitreous Detachment which means some of my vitreous gel pulled away from the back wall of my right eye. I have to go back in 6 weeks for another check up. But overall this was really good news today! I guess sometimes this is part of growing old. Compared to so many of my friends out there that I pray for the healing of their cancers and other much larger problems…this is nothing but honestly, it kind of freaked me out! I have always been open and honest with my friends and family on here…not going to change now. :)
