I have been on the receiving end of many acts of kindness, but today was a first of this sort. I was in 99 cents store purchasing some decorations for a party I am having. I got up to the register and realized that I had left my wallet at home and all I had was $11.00 in cash on me. I put some items on the counter and explained to the clerk that I would have to come back as I did not have enough cash on me. I asked her to sub-total the items and put back the rest. After I had checked out and was leaving the register and heard someone say, excuse me wait up. The lady in line behind me asked the cashier how much was left over and she said 9.68 in which she said put it on my bill I got it. To which I responded, thanks, but really I just left the house without my wallet, Ill just come back tomorrow. To which she said no problem, I have been there before. I still put up a fight telling her that I am used to being on her end giving, not receiving to which she insisted. I then realized that I should just shut up and graciously accept her kindness. I introduced myself and we hugged. So Vivian, if you are out there reading this, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! iI drove all the way home grinning like a Cheshire cat.
