I have been so saddened to learn of my dear friend and past co-workers passing. Alisa helped me with managing my classroom more than words can express. Each year , my GT class would write and illustrate novels; this was a huge project! I could not have gotten these done and complete without Alisas hard work and organization. She never complained of all the extra work. She loved her Irish culture and would share her knowledge with my classes during St. Patricks Day events, even dressing in her Irish attire! She loved to speak about her moms brother, Ben Z. Grant. She loved him like a father and would tell me stories about their youth. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. Ive never known a harder worker in my teaching career. Thank you , Alisa, for making my job a little easier!!
