I have been thinking lately how I grossly underestimate kindness. Im not talking about the forced, everyday expected kindness but those moments that surprise us. Its those moments that float into our world when we least expect them and most need them. That true kindness that comes from a purely unselfish place, from a heart that actively searched and found yours because it new u needed a moment just a moment to feel uniquely gifted and purely beautiful. Its those moments that passes to quickly, unrecognized by most, but to u world changing. Its the words that u carry close and remember without fail, or that hug that kept u whole and that look that made u feel actually seen. Its not failure that most scares us but the absents of kindness and we have over time reduced its importance and this is devastatingly sad to me. My hope is that one day we live in a world where kindness isnt just a brief moment but a large movement, an epidemic, a state of mind that sticks. I sincerely thank all those who actively pursue kindness! A big change needs to happen within myself and it starts today!
