I have debated about putting this on Facebook but I feel like it maybe easier to get information out this way than by message so here goes: I found out a few days ago that I have breast cancer, I have far more questions than answers right now but I have a wonderful medical team on my side. The only facts I have for sure are I found it myself on a monthly self-breast exam (do them ladies, Ive been shocked to learn that most do not), I have the most common type.. ductal, it is aggressive but they sent samples to the mayo clinic to verify how fast its moving., I dont know the treatment yet but they are 90% sure it will involve surgery, IV chemo, and hormone blocking agents. I wont know more til Tues evening but I am ready to win this fight!!! I will b OK and I will b better than ever. Please keep m in your thoughts and prayers as well as my family who will travel this road with me. I will post updates as Im mentally and physically able. Thank you all for EVERYTHING I am already so amazed by the support and love all around.
