I have had a few parents ask questions regarding the scope of my SAQ training for their athletes. The focus of the training will be to increase knowledge and proficient performance in the following areas: - Speed dynamics - Lateral movement and change of direction - Acceleration - Vertical leap - Static and dynamic flexibility - Range of motion - Core strength - Stride rate and length Athletes will learn proper form and technique for the following exercises and modalities: STRIDE RATE AND LENGTH - Fast Arms drill - Fast Feet drill - High knees LATERAL MOVEMENT, QUICKNESS and CHANGE OF DIRECTION - X drill - L drill - Agility shuttle drills VERTICAL LEAP AND GENERAL STRENGTH - Box squats - Rhythm squats - Dead lift (snatch grip) - Dumb bell swings - Medicine ball throws - Butt-kicks - Vertical jumps and Depth jumps SAQ training will start the week of Mon. Apr 21st. I will only be enrolling 7-10 athletes per class. The location will be, Select Sports Training on Southerland Ave. Go to primefitnessconsultants and complete the get started form. EVERY ATHLETE MUST COMPLETE THE FORM. The cost for the 5wk program is $150 per athlete. Contact me with questions.
