I have no idea what happened to my previous post so Ill try it again. Im super proud of my girls! I know science fair ended a couple weeks ago but I cant help but post this:/ Science fair update: both my oldest girls Maddy (8th grade) and Gracie (6th grade) successfully competed 4 stages of the science fair: 1st stage- top 15 in each individual grade. 2nd stage- top 15 in their entire middle school. 3rd stage- local college for entire Yuma County. Maddy stopped placing here but tied twice with competitors in her division. The judges base questions on both board and speeches presented. As for Maddy, the judges settled on another student. 4th stage- one of the local high schools in District One- final top 3 students placed in each division. This is the HUGE night where money an scholarships are earned. Gracie placed 2nd and earned a check for $75.00 from her work. Cant ever doubt my kids and how in life they will go because they never for up and want so much in life! We are beyond blessed! Below are pictures from stages 2-4. ;)) Penny Tucker Rickie G.
