I have seen it written and heard it spoken many many times that in order for you to proceed along the spiritual path and to become truly fulfilled in life, you must first find your master, your Guru, your sensei. We must search high and low for that enlightened human being that has become so wise that they are able to teach us all that we need to know about life and the world around us. But it is my honest opinion that all the wisdom that these sentient beings have absorbed is flowing freely through the universe and demonstrated by nature. If our eyes are open and receptive we can witness some truly amazing lessons. Watching a colony of ants construct their ant hill, shows us that anything can be accomplished with cooperation and dedication. If a flower gets to much or not enough water, it will wilt away. This shows us the importance of having balance in our lives and realizing that no matter how dark and ominous the storm clouds are, eventually they shall pass and the sun will soon shine again. But it is not only nature that we can learn from, every person on this planet has the potential to teach us something, to be a Guru. Seeing someone on the street give their spare change to a homeless person shows the importance of Compassion and empathy. A teenager helping an elderly neighbor with their groceries shows us that kindness is always the right action. I know that it is easier to learn more from the positive people in our lives then it is the negative, but dont underestimate the lessons that can be learned from the darker side of life, they just may be harder to see. The negative people in our lives should be an example of how NOT to be, and sometimes a constant reminder of that is very helpful. Now I am not down playing the accomplishments of the masters and Gurus of the world, I am sure the world is a better place with them. I am just saying that the world should be looked upon as our classroom and everything that we are surrounded by is our personal sensei. I have learned so much from all of you, I could never express the gratitude that I feel in my heart. Just know that each and everyone of you is having an impact on the world, just as you have had on me Blessings and Love to you all.~ GURU BUBBA McLOVIN
