I have taken my time to study the two key political parties-PDP - TopicsExpress

I have taken my time to study the two key political parties-PDP and APC in Nigeria and have come to these conclusions: That, PDP is the only democratically inclined, devoid of ethno-religious coloration and non biased political party in Nigeria. A party you cannot pin to one man as the owner. That, only until recently that a few renegades from PDP joined certain biased and ethno- religious elements that, the APC seems to be broad based but, still with regional and sectional influence-the man from the West dictates how it goes. Meanwhile, a lot of the members of APC know this truth and are not happy but, saw it as a better alternative in order to hide their shame and keep their relevancy for them to enjoy some pecks of political benefits-I blame the PDP for. As a Nation, we are not suppose to allow any military person who overthrew a legitimate government to vie for any office especially the Presidency. I will never recognise or regard such a one as a Statesman or National Leader, tufuakpa! The likes of Buhari, IBB, and co who actively partook in coups and counter coups are supposed to be locked up for life in Maximum Prisons; for abusing the privilege given to them and betraying the trust reposed on them to protect and serve us. Today, we see some Nigerians behaving like zombies rallying around these felons, coup plotters and impostors who are not different from the man who takes gun to rob on the highways- Armed Robbers they are without apology! How can we be so gullible to forget and give them recognition? Suffer not the witch to live, Selah! A witch do not need to fly but, anyone who derives pleasure in the suffering of another while inflicting pain-they raped us, killed us and maimed us while looting our collective and common wealth. Yet, we forget and are embracing them like gods, tufuakpa! Buhari lacks the moral rectitude to seek for public office; besides, if what goes around comes around then, it means there will be another coup-going by nemesis-you will reap what you sow. People say, Buhari is not corrupt, he is disciplined, he is the messiah bla bla. And I asked: on what basis? How can he fight corruption in a democracy where Rule of Law is enshrined? Will he circumvent the process and arm twist the Judiciary? Will he force the legislature to do his bidding as postulated of his character? What will he do with the likes of Tinubu and Osinbajo (as owner and director of Alpha Beta Consortium) who takes 10% of revenues collected by Lagos state government (they dont collect the revenues but share from it for looking at the books)-see public records! What will Buhari do if he meets resistance from the South as he has sworn in his heart to impose Sharia across Nigeria? How will he stop the mixture of blood of the Baboons and Monkeys? Since he left office, what contribution has he made to the development of the Nation? How many youths has he empowered, through any means necessary-how many on scholarship through his account or efforts? Will it be right for another military selfish group to overthrow his government if he becomes president and is adjudged to perform below expectations, like he accused Shagaris government? How is it possible that because a man changed his name from PDP to APC he is not corrupt? For instance, Amaechi has been in PDP government since 1999 until recent Jumpology to APC, what do we make of his sojourn in office? I am curious to be educated! Kwankwanso and Okorocha, how do we differentiate both in terms of their pieties? Going by the analogy postulated that Buhari is not corrupt, one can easily say Rochas Okorocha is a Saint-Robinhood was still sentenced-Rabiu Kwankwanso, can be called an Imam whose sole interest is to grow beards and daily call for prayers; he doesnt like government money and has never stolen it before. Ok, Atiku is a different man altogether I guess; he will tell us what happened at the airport when he was the commander during Buharis reign of terror as an anti corruption crusader abi? Or that, he can explain the wealth he has as a decent Nigerian who is not corrupt. Buhari as head of state, Idiagbon ruled, as PTF chairman, consultant managed; invariably as President he will hand over to Alpha Beta Consortium since they know how to help increase revenue while helping themselves with the bounties. I have been in government and have been very closed to the intrigues in governance and I can testify that, this government is performing creditably well. However, there is still more to do, which cant be done by wishful thinking. Agreed that, President Jonathan blew his Goodwill capital and the collateral given to access the Aso villa by not living up to expectations at the early stages of his governance. He has proven critics wrong at the long run with visible projects completed and on going. Although, he can do better but, when you look at the daunting challenges you want to empathise with him. President Jonathans greatest undoing is his inability to start or stop when the need arises-slow to start and slow to stop syndrome. More so, there are too many advisers and aides who are double edged and self-centred to his detriments; they are sycophants who betrayed him and pitched him against citizens and contending issues-who to blame? Himself! That syndrome makes it difficult for him to be decisive. However, providence has been helping him to succeed. Is he qualified to be the President again? As it stands, YES! Take a look at his midterm report, see what is recorded as job done and critic it honestly and decide on the day of elections. Remember, Rule of Law is gradually being enshrined in our Polity and that is what will strengthen our Democracy-Consistent, Deliberate and Continuous Efforts will cement the power of the voter card. I stand to be corrected and open to be educated. Thanks for reading through to this point, keep your abuse but state your point. Note: Posterity will judge us all. I am open to a decent debate. Thank you Emmanuel Eze.
