I have this Pfaff 260 on my work bench right now that I have been working on for the last couple of days. Its in pretty good shape after a good cleaning and thorough oiling. Just when I was ready to run some test stitches and got down to threading her up, I couldnt get the bobbin thread pulled up. I cheated a bit and got it up through the needle plate but on the test stitches, the bobbin thread isnt being caught at all and no stitches are being made. The video shows what I observe the needle and hook doing as I turn the hand wheel. Is the timing off? If so, how do I time it (Ive never fixing timing issues before but would love to learn)? Or could it just be the wrong needle? I was using the needle it came with for the test stitches.
