I honestly dont want to make anyone jealous or anything but just in case anybody was wondering what a Kate Bush ticket looks like, it looks like this, and no, you cant have it: (you know that if Id had enough money and that there had actually been more than one near impossible to book seat available when I managed to impossibly book it I would have done, of course I would. But, blimey, it was hard enough getting this oen let alone any others) I had already had a message from Kate herself basically saying: Oi, fellabod, Dont go taking no pictures of me or nuffink or Ill be down off that stage like a shot, get ya in the headlock and bust you up like a cloud.So dont even think about it Actually I should think that if anyone were to take it upon themselves to disobey Kates instructions and start photographing or recording then they would be severely set upon by fellow outraged Bushites and escorted from the venue. Or we will at least tut loudly at any such behaviour I should think, so that should sort it out. Personally I dont want to go anything to upset actual Kate Bush at all so I wont be camera phoning anything (it helps that my camera phone is so rubbish it would probably come out all blurry anyway and you wouldnt be able to work out what was going on anyway) but I may try and sneek in some crayons and paper with me and may attempt to do some artists courtroom type sketches of the proceedings as they occur. I may even post them up here at later date if I dont get thrown out. I have so many people that I have promised to try and pick up souvenir Kate Bush merchandise for that I may have to try and smuggle a shopping trolley in with me. Ill see what I can get. Im expecting the queues to be very very long and also expecting whatever merchandise there is on offer to be very very VERY expensive and that I will have to remortage my house once I get back. But, look, its Kate Bush. Actual Kate Bush out of Kate Bush from the records and the telly an that. Its a once in a lifetime thing this. Who needs money??? er....well, alright EVERYBODY needs money.....but, you know, this is Kate Bush were talking about here. Kate Bush!! What do you mean youre feeling jealous now. No, that wasnt the purpose of this post at all.....no, honestly that wasnt the intention whatsoever. Oh, alright, maybe it was a little bit. Ill see you After The Dawn.
