I just completed two sermons for Sunday morning, and while getting ready to wrap up and head home, I thought about all of my pastoral colleagues who are in the lab on this New Years Day, unable to fully enjoy the holiday because the preparation must take place, irrespective of what the calendar deems as a holiday. For all reading this post, if you have a Pastor, Imam, Priest, or whoever serves as your Servant-Leader, pray that God would strengthen them even more in 2015 than God did in 2014. Pray that your Servant-Leader focus on their health in 2015. Pray that you and fellow parishioners will do all you can to release much of the pressure off your Servant-Leader. Lastly, work to assist your Servant-Leader by being present to serve and not present to observe. Much love to all my Co-Commenators of Calvary. There are definitely more, but it stopped my tag.
