I just finished this little painting at 3 am today and the customer was pleased. I could tell for sure when she first saw it and shouted Oh God! Oh God! LOL LOL. Its a Christmas present for her husband. Since my customer was happy, I came home and Im doing the dance! Now I must finish the last pre-Christmas order & Ill be burning the midnight oil again. But a painting aint done til it tells me its done. The best part is the process of painting, the next best is a happy customer, and last of all its nice to get paid. I think I made 25 cents/hr on this one below. Thats the first painting Ive tried with the Infinity acrylics you see in the photo & I did it at pencil portrait prices because I simply wanted to try out this new paint. I love their oil like colors but I had problems with the paint being too thick out of the tube and then when I added a little medium it was too transparent. Maybe next payday I can buy a set of oils and at that time I will be able to take my time and paint each hair on a doggy.
