I just got through reading a Blaze article where the couple who owned the bakery in Oregon has had to shut down their store that they spent years and a small fortune building because of some gay people with their panties in a wad after they reserved the right to refuse to bake a lesbian couple a wedding cake. This act on principal and belief has cost them their business. Or at least their brick and mortar store. They live in a highly liberal area with a strong gay rights activism in it. So they have had to move back into their home to make their bakery goods. Which poses a problem as they have 5 children they are homeschooling thanks to the same assholes who were tormenting their kids because of their mom and dads political/religious stance. In my book the kids are better off anyway but it does add a extra struggle trying to run a business with 5 kids under foot. SO..what Im asking the Christian community to do, the traditional marriage crowd; is to blow their business up with orders! They can ship cakes in a jar and cookies and such. Cup cakes and cakes dont transport well but if you are in the Oregon area it would be wonderful if you could patronize them with a cake.
