I just returned with Mariela from a private screening of the soon-to-be-released movie Cesar Chavez. The screening was hosted by San Antonio Mayor Joaquin Castro, former HUD Director and former San Antonio Mayor Henry Cisneros, and Democratic National Committee Finance Director Henry Munoz III, who also happens to be my wifes boss. In attendance was the films brilliant Director, Diego Luna (Y tu Mama Tambien, Milk, Elysium, et al). The movie was extraordinary. It tells the wonderful story of a true American Hero who formed the United Farm Workers (UFW) Union in the 1960s. I highly recommend you see this very important movie which premiers on March 28th. It stars Michael Pena, America Ferrara, Rosario Dawson, and John Malkovich. Si se puede!
