I just want to say this one thing to the first-time con-goers in the forum. If youre reading the current threads in the forum, you might be afraid that the con will be full of people who are secretly watching your every step, judging the things you do. Just like everyday life. Every convention forum looks like that, just before the con. But when the time actually rolls around? Were all going to forget about all of that. GEEK OUT. GEEK OUT FOR DAYS. Think back to a previous con, any previous con anywhere, and you remember the things that could have been better. But walk in that door and see Convention happening? Its a rush. It always is. Keep your head on your shoulders. Be nice, dont be a jerk, dont be a perv. Always remember to treat people the way youd like to be treated. But dont worry that you might laugh a *bit* too loud and talk a *bit* too long and it will all be horribly awkward and nobody will like you FOREVER AND EVER. Were all geeks. We are all going to be geeking out. Youre going to have a wonderful time.
