I just want to take a moment to thank everyone who came out and volunteered for The Left Coast Invitational this year. I am not the best with words so bear with me. Many of you are from our gym and a few are not. Those of you who are not you are now honorary CFMG members, and will always be welcome at our gym. Your hard work as judges, equipment managers, medical staff, volunteer staff, runners, scorekeepers, jack of all trades, etc. did not go unnoticed. I hope you felt the love and were well taken care of this weekend. You guys showed us exactly what the CrossFit Community can be all about this weekend, selfless dedication to something bigger than yourself. I appreciate each and everyone of you. To the CFMG Staff who worked this weekend I have no words to describe how amazing you all were. Your ability to make things happen with little to no guidance is one of the reasons our gym and community is so awesome. You guys took ownership in the event this weekend and it showed. It was amazing seeing you all preform and represent our gym in such a professional manner. Love you guys! Lastly, to my best friend, Gym Manager, and Director of the LCI, Betsy, I want you to know that we could never do this event or most of the events we do without you. Your ability to generate new ideas to improve the LCI, our gym, community, and workouts is second to none. You also have a great skill in troubleshooting any issues that come up or you see coming which has saved us a lot. :) You don’t always get the credit you deserve because you are always working behind the scenes, but I want everyone to know that you are just as involved as I am and are truly a difference maker at CFMG. If any one deserves a “great job” or “thank you” for this weekend it’s you! I am thankful everyday to have you on my team and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Love you!
