I just wanted to say to everyone, how wonderful it was to be together again...to see the changes and the ones who are timeless (Chandra)..the kid who never grew up (knows who he is) and the felling like conversations and memories started 40 years ago...continue as if no time has passed at all...like you just finished a sentence yesterday and continued the conversation today. Mostly it is amazing to find out the direction life took for everyone...our class president for instance, Mayor of small town Texas...a kid I got so upset with in 7th grade math class I had to slap him!!!...now a lawyer...a mayor...and a hell of a cool guy. Who knew....and to see people I started out this life along side of...1st grade, 2nd grade....do we ever stop and think just how long we had known some of the faces in that room Saturday night?... and then those who were missing. It brought back a speech given to us all during our graduation rehersal in the auditorium so many years ago...I still remember something about, at sometime in your life, 1 in every 4 of you will die from Cancer...and then we looked to our left...and to our right... does anybody remember that speech...and think of the blessing of not being that 1...40 years down the road? Many Thanks to our class leaders for keeping us all together...and for making this site possible to keep up!!
