I know God loves me because: GOD HAS GIVEN ME HEAVEN AS MY DESTINY. Are you secure in your destiny? Do you know you can be born again and live in fear because you lack revelation of His eternal plan for your life? I know He loves me because I face death with expectancy, knowing my destiny is to spend all of eternity in paradise with Jesus. Job 19:25 25 But as for me I know that my Redeemer liveth, And at the last day he will stand up upon the earth: Job said I know my kinsman “redeemer”, my avenger and deliverer is alive and that He will “stand” or make good on every promise He has ever made. I have always likened this to pastoral ministry. It is a common occurrence to tell someone what God is going to do for them and have them smirk in unbelief. I always issue the six month challenge. I tell them if you walk with Jesus for the next six months, you aren’t going to believe what God has done for you. And then I tell them, in six months I am going to be right here. I am not a traveling evangelist. I have to live with the promises I make. This is what God is saying to us. My name is on the line and when all the dust settles, my Word will be fulfilled. You can count on it. Job 19:26 26 And after my skin, (even) this (body), is destroyed, Then without my flesh shall I see God; The word “see” is a wonderful word. It means to gaze upon with great pleasure. For God’s people, we don’t have to approach this day in dread, fear, and apprehension. When we see Him, our hearts will explode with great joy and our fears will be absent in the presence of His awesome love. This is our destiny as believers, redeemed that we might spend eternity in bliss with Him. 2 Cor 5:8 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. To be “absent” is to vacate or transfer. I like to say when we die we get our promotion. When we become absent in this body, we become immediately present with Him. This word “present” means to be in one’s own country, or to come home. This is our destiny. Heaven will be like coming home. It won’t seem strange to us. In fact, it will seem very comfortable and familiar to us. Heaven is going to fit us just right. He loves us so much, a lifetime is not enough. He plans to spend all eternity with us.
