I left the IVBI (i vote for a better India campaign) office last nite after 3am and as I left there were more than 25 volunteers just chugging on with the Seva. It was pure magic. Energy. Enthusiasm, Happiness, Teamwork, Positivity, Drive, Sincerity, Focus, Determination......(I know the Tatas, and Wipros would pay crores to have project teams like these)... Some had been working for more than 48 hours with just a few hours sleep... Not all were from the same group, many didnt even know each other, I noticed some exchanging names and numbers.... an amazing invisible bond keeping all together, all working towards the common goal of building a great nation, a better future for all Indians.... I recorded some interviews of the volunteers on what drives them to this Deva.. Ill share these with you in subsequent posts ... As I drove home, at Chandni Chowk, I passed the Viva Inn Pub disc and noticed the young boys n girls hanging around on the bikes outside... and I was just overwhelmed by the sharp contrast with the place I had just left... one group of youth slogging to build the nation, the other wasting themselves and the countrys resources... That also made me realise how lucky we are to have a guiding light, a Satguru in our lives.. who keeps showing us the way, gently pushing us along the path to light and freedom.. .. no one can be luckier..
