I looked at the calendar today and realized what a fast month this has been... Sorting e-mails and catching up with notes and inquiries, fantasy teams and travel prep... Ive sort of had some faith restored in the community. Some really positive and upbeat conversations, notes and all that stuff. Last year, I felt like I was fighting up hill all the time. Certainly, this year isnt any better. Weve personally had some challenges with friends and family passing away (last count was maybe 10), health problems and general life stuff. There has been a small share of pretty insensative comments, but I believe the communuity has become more receptive to Smashed Empire, and I appreciate that. I have said time and time over, I am an army of one - with the magazine, the podcast and the taping, and now Topekas PPV at Blizzard Bash and the fantasy league... Its refreshing to continue to have so much support on such a large scale. I try to answer every inquiry as honestly as possible. Thats seemed to go a long way in the past and I hope it continues to do so. I love this sport, and thoroughly enjoy entertaining so many people in so many different fashions. I greatly appreciate the support, the understanding and the help in making Smashed Empire evolve so diversely in such a short span of time. And you guys havent seen anything yet! Again, with all I have, thank you.
