I love Easter. It can be a bittersweet time for me because I miss my Mom even more then. She was Easter and spring to me. Sunshine, planting flowers, visiting family, cooking, swinging on the front porch chatting.....I can still hear her laughter and see her sparkling eyes when she smiled. I miss her so very much. Before church on Easter morning she always made us pancakes and then we would hunt for our basket. The Easter bunny always hid ours, even when I was in college. Easter means more to me now because of the sacrifice made by our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, I am comforted. I know she is with him and I know I will be reunited with her again one day. I hope all of you, believers or not, have a blessed day filled with love and surrounded by your family and friends.♡
