I love reading all the encouraging and hopeful posts about a new year. Heres the thing... Lets face it, theres still gonna be issues this year. Were still human. Ugh. Yep. Still here on a slowly dying earth, trying to carve out a life worthy of the call despite all the challenges that come with living alongside other humans and other beings that we cant even see. Jesus said something that gives me a lot of encouragement ... In this world, youre gonna have trouble, aint gonna lie. But, dont worry about it. Honestly. Be cheery and keep moving because I have totally OVERCOME this world. Woot! Dont be discouraged or surprised when things start to smack down coz you will overcome it through Jesus and His peace. Just like you overcame the stuff from last year and the year before that and the year before that and the year ... Much love! X
