I mentioned breaking my legs in a post tonight. That was quite an experience and a lesson in life for me.It was the start of an exciting summer off from school. I worked as a para and loved it. I was off work 2 days when I answered an ad, 2 proffs at the college needed a babysitter for 2 little ones. 9 am until Ipm. and the pay was good. I went to work Monday and fell Thursday and broke my legs. I left their house at 1pm on Thursday and went to Magic Mirror . . .at 2pm , I went home, parked in the garage and went up the steps to the back door and the door was locked.I turned to come down and slipped on steps wet with a Spring shower. I felt my right leg crack, I grabbed the rail and tried to favor the left leg and felt it crack, then I went down. . . .my home was on W. Wilman and my neighbor Barry was washing his car in his drive, I raised up as far as I could and yelled Barry !! I need Help !! He finally saw me and came over and assured me I had sprained an ankle . . but I couldnt stand so he carried me to his little red Mustang convertible and took me to Newmans hospital . . .My momma was sitting in the front room watching TV waiting for me to come home, and I was on my way to the hospital. . . . I could end this here but it gets better and funny so I will finish tomorrow . .when I got to the Er I could remember all the telephone numbers for Barry but not in the proper order so it was hours before anyone knew where I was.My car was there but I wasnt. . . . . (((hugs ))) and love gnite sweet peeps !!
