I met this incredible young man yesterday, Jacob, 10 years old. His story, very similar to Gavins, from complicated heart problems, unknown futures, endless hospital stays, many surgeries... to a diagnosis of DiGeorge Syndrome. Waiting patiently for Gavin to get called back, Jacob came out of the clinic area and spotted Gavin and came right over to him, and within 30 seconds Gavin was giving Jacob a huge hug and they were both giggling.
