I must confess something personal... In the past, my cardio workouts helped me manage intense grief, anxiety, frustration, anger and stress. Id allow myself to feel everything fully, then push my body as hard/fast as possible, to flush out all my negativity. Only then was I ready to put hands on a client--only once Id re-established inner peace. The more I keep learning to get out of my way in life, the more Im finding my workouts have become very different. Much more about relaxing into everything being awesome...Allowing awesome to become the new normal, grounding myself into that new reality vs. feeling jittery and sleepless with excitement. Too often people feel scared off when life starts feeling too good - way better than theyre used to experiencing. In fact, we all need to do the opposite. Breathe into the joy that overwhelms, smile at the tears of gratitude that make your eyes shiny. Open your heart to feeling more love and light than ever before. Just open, and observe. What does it feel like to embrace success?
