I need an opinion....what exactly constitutes a bathroom? This is not a trick question. I showed a house today. The list Agent put 2 bathrooms in the MLS, one being a master bath. So we looked & we looked & we looked. All we found was 1 bathroom. It had a tub/shower, a commode & a vanity sink. The master bath was what looked like an unfinished, to the studs small attic storage area off the master bedroom. There is no commode. No tub. No shower. No light. No window. No flooring. There is a very nice vanity with sink, but it is not attached to any running water. Its just sitting in this unfinished storage area. There is also some sort of storage cabinet that contains nothing & is also just sitting in this unfinished space. Soooo...I call the Agent. She says...well its PLUMBED for a bathroom. It USED TO BE a bathroom once. Seriously. What does one say to that. She actually believes this gives her the right to call this space a master bathroom. Ready.....GO!
