I ran across the work of Tom Friedman sometime last weekend. I liked most of what I saw, but I didnt realize how much I liked the work until I actually read the mediums he used to create the pieces. He carves stuff out of styrofoam, cuts up multiple objects to create much larger duplicates and makes some pretty stimulating sculptures out of construction paper. Im glad I found myself on his page at Luhring Augustine. Maybe youll like Friedmans work to.
