I rarely truly rant...but here is mine for today. Many of you know my very first English Bulldog, Nigel. I loved him with every fiber of my being, and when his bad ticker took him from me unexpectedly on Christmas Eve 2012, before he even made 3 years old, I was crushed beyond belief. I cant even mention his name without getting super emotional, and when Im drunk, much to Richards dismay, I blubber on about that dog. Everyday on FB I see postings of unwanted and abandoned senior dogs. A lot with stories of their owners just did not want to care for an old dog anymore. Grey faces, dim eyes. If I could just have that privledge, that honor, of taking care of Nigel when his face was completely grey, and his eyes cloudy and his bones achey, I would give absolutely anything... People are assholes. I hope your families dont decide your just too much to take care of and dump you somewhere...
