I realise since being in the UK how lucky I am. Last night I lay awake and had memories come back to me from my sister in SA that no one here will ever know or share. These are memories of Botswana, Zimbabwe, east london, and so much more. From past heartaches and falling in love. Family lunches with my cousins at my gran. Pen singing in the choir and doing drama at school. And running on the athletics field. These are over 20 years of memories that know one here will ever know as these are those true memories of a sister and daughter that you have growing up. We are so blessed and lucky to be able to keep these with us. Even though she settled in UK I am lucky to hold onto the memories of a sister I used to jump into bed with when I was scared and her rubbing her feet against mine calling me sweet cakes! How lucky and blessed are all her SA family to have those untold memories and times spent together that we can keep in our hearts. Love u always pen...
