I really have been thinking a lot about the similarities between Diana Nyed and myself. She of course swam 100 miles avoiding sharks and jellyfish, in the Atlantic Ocean. I walked to Circle K avoiding a city bus and a Scottsdale cougar thru the mean streets of Fry s parking lot. She had a protective mask and I had a baseball cap and a visa card with overdraft protection. She spent five years trying to accomplish her goal, Ive spent over five years looking for a shortcut to Circle k. She had to eat and preform all bodily functions while on her swim. I ate a hot dog while walking home and stopped to use the bathroom at the Chinese restaurant. She had hundreds of cheering fans greet her when she finished. When I got home my mailman said hi and gave me my cable bill. When she finished her face was a little swollen so is my knee. This really is strange.. Diana Nyed and me bonded forever on our similar adventure!
