I recently found some old papers clipped together, with the words To be read at funeral of K.M. Gibbs attached to them. Kenneth (K.M.) Gibbs was the coroner in this county many decades ago, and he was also the secretary/treasurer of the Somerset Cemetery board for more than 30 years. He is now buried in this cemetery. Im not sure whether the pieces were ever read at his funeral, but I thought it would be appropriate this Memorial Day weekend to share them with you.
