I recently heard that bravery has two parts: 1. Doing something awesome. 2. Telling people you did something awesome. Well, then, here goes: Since being appointed the pastor of Epworth United Methodist Church in July, 2014, attendance is up 50%. Professions of faith have increased by 200%. In the last 4 months of the year, we ended up giving away nearly $10,000 in benevolent/charitable support. Tithes and offerings have increased 38%, and pledges for 2015 are up 60% from both members and guests. Is this bragging, or is this celebrating the miracles God can perform when a pastor and Gods people trust and obey? Thanks for giving me this forum in which to share. I think I will share with even more people, and I hope you will, too, because God makes us brave. In addition, its always good to be a witness to what God can do in human hearts. You can never go wrong trusting God. Rev. Sheila https://youtube/watch?v=QUQsqBqxoR4
