I remember getting picked on by a few kids while I was growing up. - TopicsExpress

I remember getting picked on by a few kids while I was growing up. Well, not just picked on. Punched. Shoved. Spit on. Bashed into lockers. But I was always told by my parents to not hit back, because I was so strong I could seriously hurt or kill someone. Well, they were right. I AM very strong. We know now that Kayla and I both have the same genetic collagen disorder that causes me to look, act, feel, STAND (yes, you called me duck feet, you know who you are) and just BE different. I am not at liberty to say why, but we were instructed to watch other members of the family as well for signs and symptoms. I just want people to know that a disability isnt always visible. At least my problems arent my fault. What about yours?
