I saw this movie once when I was seven and had been looking all over the internet for it but could NOT find it. Then one day a few weeks ago I walked into an antique store in Louisville (just like in the Neverending Story) and bam there it was a $3 vinyl record from the bargain bin playing on a stereo older than I. I remember thinking how shockingly political it was (being made in the 70s) because you see, this little boy was banished from his family and his entire land all because he was simply born without a point on his head. I could speak about similarities with immigration, LGBTQ and many other social issues, but I bet you can find them on your own in this cute little piece of art.
