I sometimes wonder if parents know they are sending criminals to school to harass children rather than sending children to school to learn....It saddens me to know my son has been a victim of bullying, I did not know, he was hesitant to go to school on mornings but I never knew the reason why, I always told him that if something happens in school that I need to know, come and tell me. Last term one afternoon when he came from school he began receiving text messages on his phone, someone in class was repeatedly asking him to send money to his phone, I took away the phone from my son and I dialed the number, I asked the child why he was harassing my son and I warned him to let us not end up in the principals office. The phone calls and messages stopped but I did not realize the bullying at school continued, one afternoon after school my son was leaving, the same boy ran up to him, took away his laptop bag, took out the laptop and charger telling my son the bag belonged to someone else, my son went to the dean and told her what had happened she took back the bag, wrote my sons name on it and gave it back to him. Usually I give my son 20 dollars on a Monday to go to school, I give him lunch and something to drink, he does not have to travel, he does not eat snacks, yet by Wednesday I had to give him 20 and by Friday another 20. He stayed home last week because of the flu, but when he went to school on Monday the same boy accused him of stealing his xbox control, he told my son he stayed home all of last week to play xbox, (I am telling you, if that boy had come into the office that morning I would have slammed his head against the wall) he told my son if he does not bring the money for it, he will bring his father in school for my son....When he came from school I noticed the worried look on his face, he told me what the boy had told him. I went through his phone to see if the boys number was there, I dialed a number but it was another friends. I went to the office next morning, ALL of my sons teachers were telling me of that boy and that parents somehow are afraid to make a report against him, he is a menace, when it comes to my son, I am not afraid of ANYBODY. We had to do a report of the incident...Funny enough, since I went to the office on Monday, today is Friday my son still has the same 20 dollars I gave him on Monday.....That little criminal in the making took money from my son every single day, when my son told him he had no money the boy made him open his wallet...Asked by the principal why he did not come and tell him, my son told the principal that the boy threatened to beat him up if he said anything, I cannot explain the shock on the principals face......So tell me people, where does criminal activity begin, where is it allowed??? When my son started school at 3 years old I told him I do not want to see anything belonging to anybody in his bag at ANYTIME, not even by mistake because I will break his ass, he is 13 and a half I make random checks in his bag and I have never seen anything other than what I bought for him. So if this little criminal thinks my son is hungry for somebody elses stupid xbox control, he has to be kidding!
