I spose that I can let the cat out of the bag now. I was offered and accepted a job with Reiman Corp in Cheyenne Wyoming. It is not just operating heavy equipment and not just truck driving. It actually plays into some of what I did in the Coast Guard as a quality control inspector for civil engineering projects as well. Had two really great phone interviews with the Projects Manager and the Superintendent (my boss). There were some pay negotiations which they were happy to oblige and cannot wait to get me out there. Unfortunately 2nd gear in my transmission had something to say about that. So, I get that fixed Wednesday or Tuesday. They are totally cool with that too and just said keep us posted and let us know if you need anything. I have a whole lot of mixed feelings about this. The job seems like it will be great. But, "here I go again on my own." Well, I am beat down dead dog tired and have more crap to get rid of from the house tomorrow. Good night:)
