I started school at Margaretta in 1949 as a 7th grader. The "Our Father" had ceased to be read 25 years prior to that. It seems a Atheist complained so they stopped the practice. Margaretta like all Public Schools religion is Atheism. Why? Because all Public Schools teach Evolution as a Fact, (some individual teachers just do not push it as hard, my Science and the Science teachers of my 3 children did make it a point to weaken the faith in God of both me and that of my children so we had to read The KJV Bible every night). Why then continue going to a Public School? Well, it is in my opinion that Margaretta was and is the "lesser of 2 evils. Do not even consider a Catholic School-they use the Textbooks that Public Schools use. A Christian School? They exist at the whim of some so-called pastor----here today gone tomorrow. I changed schools 4 times and it was so traumatic I chose not to put my children through it.
