I think I was put in school a (school) year too early. For pretty much my whole school time Ive got along better with the year group below me and ever since secondary rolled around Ive delt with being less physically developed than the rest of the year. At my current school near everyone in my year group despises me, but I have a fairly decent relationship with the lower years. Ive always been the youngest in my year group and in the school I attended soley during year six I transferred from year five at the end of a term which Im pretty sure wasnt the school year end, right into year six, two or three terms latter the rest of the class moved up to year seven, which means if I wasnt in the wrong group at that point I almost certainly was now. During lessons I feel like a few basic things are missing from my knowledge which skipping an early part of education could explain. The explanation I chalk up to either my mothers absent mindedness or a clerical error at school. I only came up with this idea recently and since Ill soon be year 11 its not worth going back now. But if this is true, while I have no issues with my primary life and education, Id really want to go back in time to year 7 with the correct group, because Id have actual friends there instead of an bring the weird underdeveloped kid, especially considering my year group dislike nearly all of what I enjoy while some students in the first and second year below me share or would share if shown my interests.
