I think it is just time for a MAJOR overhaul of how we live and eat in this country. I know that sounds simple and YET it will not be. It will be catastrophic. But from that catastophy we can build a much better system. One that isnt full of chemicals and actually can FEED and Nourish people instead of just make them full and fat. But this would be an overhaul of our whole food economic system. It needs to be addressed not only on the personal level, where people make decisions to eat REAL food, not processed, chemicals that do little to make us nourished or healthy, It needs to address how foods are made. We need to realize that what we put in our bodies determines how our bodies function. It will change manufacturing practices, cattle raising practices, how we ship or dont ship foods across the country and the world. I know it seems daunting, and it probably is, but I think it could be done. I think it needs to be done. Some people (companies) will lead the way, others will be dragged along, kicking and screaming. But if we, the people that eat, really want this, it could change everything.
