I think sometimes people get into relationships hoping to change the other person. This is the case more so with women than with men. A woman will get into a relationship with a man knowing that he isnt capable of being faithful; knowing that he has a lack of respect for women, and he even may be in the streets. For some reason, women feel like they have the power to change this man. You cant change him. Only God can do that. Thats His job. Not yours. The more you try to change a man, the more he will rebel and do what he want to do. Same goes for men who try to turn promiscuous women into housewives. The more you try to control them, the more they want to get out there and do them. Before you even get yourself into that situation, recognize and see if a person is mature enough to date before you decide to pursue that person. You dont get into a relationship to be a mother or father, you get into one hoping to be a wife or husband. That is all. Peace.
