I think the wild card in baseball is ridiculous. You play 162 games to make the playoffs, and then play one game to see who advances. Makes no sense, and one might say it doesnt give a team a fighting chance. I say add another wild card team and MAYBE shorten the season to 150 games. Then let the two division winners with the best records have a bye. Then have the other four teams play in a best of 3 series. The next round would be a best of five series, then the NLCS would be a seven game series. That would bring in some extra revenue. All other major sports have a playoff structure of at least six teams. Why not baseball? Thoughts!!!
