I think this is highly significant and a big frightening move to a totalitarian Europe: The European Parliaments Constitutional Affairs Committee and EU member states yesterday agreed on new rules governing EU-level political parties and foundations, including on eligibility for EU funding, reports European Voice. Only those parties that respect ‘EU values’ as set out in Article 2 of the Lisbon treaty will be able to register at European level. The source of this is European Voice.
